Terms of Use
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This is a translation of the French Terms of Use. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
What Manga Shiori is
Manga Shiori helps you keep track of your manga, manhwa, and manhua reading: where you are, how many chapters are left, and what you thought of it. The app doesn't distribute any chapter and doesn't let you read any work.
Your account
An account is needed to find your library from one device to another. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential. You can request the deletion of your account at any time from Settings: it is deleted seven days later, and you can cancel by signing back in before then. The deletion is then permanent and erases your library, your ratings, and your comments. An account that runs Manga Shiori is deleted on request at service.clients@mangashiori.com.
What you post
The comments you write are visible to other readers. The following are prohibited: harassment, hate speech, sexual content, advertising, and plot spoilers outside the chapter pages meant for them.
Anyone can report any comment. A comment reported several times is hidden automatically until it's reviewed. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
You alone are responsible for the images you add to your collection; they must respect the law and the rights of others.
Data about the works
Titles, synopses, authors, ratings, and covers come from AniList and Kitsu; chapter counts, from MangaUpdates and MangaDex. French editions — publisher, number of volumes, authors — come from the Manga-News dataset published on data.gouv.fr under the ODbL 1.0 license. Volume information comes from manga publishers and the Bibliothèque nationale de France; published French volumes come from its general catalog, reused under the Open Licence 2.0 (Etalab); the date of the last check is shown on each series page. Upcoming release dates are collected by the Manga Shiori team from publishers' official pages or suggested by readers, then checked before publication: a date may change, and a delay is flagged. A BnF record doesn't say whether a volume is available in stores. Volume covers belong to their publishers; we remove the ones we store upon simple request. This information and these images remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. They may contain errors or gaps.
What belongs to us
The app, its name, its logo, its design, and its texts belong to IMSMLM, publisher of Manga Shiori. You may use the app for your personal use; you may not copy it, resell it, or extract its catalog with a bot or an automated collection program. Your data remains yours: we never sell it.
The service
Manga Shiori is a young service, provided as is and without any guarantee of availability. You can request a copy of your data at any time from Settings: we send it to you by email.
Affiliate links
In France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Switzerland only, some buttons open Amazon or BDfugue to buy a volume. As an Amazon Associate, Manga Shiori earns from qualifying purchases. BDfugue links are paid links too. The price stays the same for you; the purchase is made with them, under their terms.
